Crown, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, has confirmed it will exhibit at IMHX 2025 in Birmingham from 9–11 September.
The family-owned manufacturer will present a full portfolio of integrated material handling solutions in Hall 5, Stand D12 at the NEC.
Visitors will have the chance to see Crown’s latest innovations first-hand, including the newly launched WJ 50 Series compact pallet truck, alongside a diverse line-up featuring forklifts, warehouse design services, V-Force Energy Solutions and advanced fleet management technologies.
Innovation, quality and reliability are central to Crown’s product development ethos, with the company’s focus on durability and ergonomic design evident across the range on display at this year’s event.
The new WJ 50 Series, powered by V-Force 48-volt lithium-ion technology, delivers high energy efficiency to help reduce overall running costs.
The 1.2-tonne model weighs just 159.5 kilograms including its battery, while the 1.5-tonne model weighs 162.5 kilograms – yet both are capable of handling loads of up to 1,500 kilograms.
Compact dimensions and excellent manoeuvrability make the WJ 50 Series well-suited for tight operating spaces.
Crown backs the model with its exclusive 3-2-1 warranty package, underlining the truck’s quality and reliability.
Positive customer feedback has already highlighted its easy handling and operator comfort, while the truck has earned recognition as an Archies Award finalist.
Crown will also display its SP 1500 Series high-level order picker – another Archies Award shortlisted finalist – known for its performance, visibility and operator-centred design.
The model’s ergonomic platform and industry-exclusive mid window provide outstanding all-round visibility, with a range of configurable controls to improve safety and streamline order picking.
The SP 1500 Series features Crown’s Xpress Lower technology, enabling the mast to descend up to 2.5 times faster than rival forklifts.
This regenerative lowering system feeds energy back into the battery, and an optional 48-volt battery delivers even greater performance.
Integrated with Crown’s Gena operating system and InfoLink fleet management technology, the SP 1500 Series gathers operational data to improve safety, productivity and asset use.
At IMHX 2025, Crown will provide live demonstrations of its forklifts and operator-focused systems via the InfoLink 7” Touch Display.
The company will also present end-to-end warehouse solutions – including design services, racking and storage systems – as well as energy and automation technologies such as V-Force lithium-ion power solutions.
The exhibition coincides with the prestigious Archies Awards, where both the WJ 50 Series and SP 1500 Series have been shortlisted. In addition, three Crown apprentices – Dan Allen, Xavier Graham and Thomas Bassham – are nominated for “Apprentice of the Year.”
Simon Barkworth, UK Managing Director at Crown Lift Trucks, said: “We are honoured to receive five nominations at the prestigious Archies Awards – an achievement that reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in material handling as we shape the future of the industry.
"As we continue to engage with European trade shows throughout the year, we’re excited to strengthen our brand presence and demonstrate the cutting-edge technology, reliability, and quality that define the Crown experience.
