European Conveyor Systems goods lifts hit 300 landmark
转载 2012-12-20 09:56 mhwmagazine Source:mhwmagazineInstallation of two Gebhardt goods lifts at Amazon's distribution centre at Rugeley, Staffordshire, has taken the total number installed by European Conveyor Systems up to 300, including multiple installations for Debenhams, IKEA, Next, Mothercare and other leading retailers.
As well as the Rugeley contract, ECS has already completed installations for Amazon at Milton Keynes, Swansea, Hemel Hempstead, Dunfermline and on the Continent. Three lifts installed at Debenham's new distribution centre in West Yorkshire are in different colours for clear identification when organising warehouse operations.
For IKEA ECS has installed equipment at Belfast, Coventry, Nottingham and Dublin, and four lifts have been installed at Mothercare's distribution centre in Northamptonshire. Other recent customers include Xtrac Transmission Technology, United Biscuits, Alliance Healthcare, ConocoPhillips and the Channel Islands Co-op.
Gebhardt lifts are fully free-standing and self-contained, requiring no civil engineering work or welding, and are available in goods-only and personnel versions with load capacities from 500kg to 2000kg in a wide range of sizes. Maximum operating height is 20 metres, and provision can be made for up to six stopping places and 12 access points. Features such as interior lights and safety light curtains in the lift entrance can be included.
ECS has several more lift orders in the pipeline for installation in 2013, as well as major conveyor installations for handling pallets, cases and tote boxes.
