Guangdong-headquartered lithium-ion battery systems developer RoyPow has told Forkliftaction Newsproduction at its new Indonesian manufacturing facility is expected to begin in September or October this year.

The site, located in Batam, is under construction with the final touches being added, RoyPow states.

“This significant milestone marks a new step forward in our global expansion and reaffirms our strong commitment to localisation and long-term service in Indonesia and surrounding regions,” the company says in a LinkedIn post.

“The new facility will play a vital role in enhancing production capacity, improving delivery efficiency, and supporting the growing demand for green energy solutions across Southeast Asia.”
