转载 2010-10-15 16:01 komatsu Source:komatsuKomatsu Ltd. (hereinafter "Komatsu") (President & CEO: Kunio Noji) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (hereinafter "Toyota Tsusho") (President: Junzo Shimizu) have received an order for 44 units of Komatsu's 930E super-large dump truck from Shenhua Zhungeer Energy Co.,Ltd (hereinafter "Zhungeer Energy") (Chairman: Ma Jun) in Inner Mongolia Region. Zhungeer Energy is a member company of Shenhua Group Corporation Limited (Chairman: Zhang Xiwu), China's largest coal mining company.
Komatsu and Toyota Tsusho have already delivered 66 units of Komatsu's mining equipment to Zhungeer Energy since 2004, and the current large-scale order reflects their performance in the mine.
China is the world's largest producer of coal with an annual production volume of over 3 billion tons last year. While the mainstream mining method still calls for underground mining, the percentage of safer open-pit mining has been growing in newly developed mines in recent years. Against this backdrop, Komatsu is anticipating that demand for super-large mining equipment for use in open-pit mining will continue to grow into the future.
