Liugong will invest RMB 2 billion Yuan in Tianjin Airport Industrial Park to build Liugong northern base of engineering machinery research, manufacturing, export and commerce. The investment agreement signature ceremony was held recently in Astor Hotel.

Liugong is one of Chinese TOP500 manufacturers. It is specialized at the research, manufacturing and sales of wheel loader, hydraulic excavators, road equipment which includes pavers, motor graders and milling machines, multipurpose compact products which includes skid-steer loaders and backhoe loaders, and the recently developed forklift trucks, etc. The group business revenue was more than RMB 10 billion Yuan. Liugong northern Base is one of the 20 important industrial projects in Tianjin. The production capacity will be more than 10,000 units of all kinds of engineering machinery, with estimated sales revenue of RMB 5 billion Yuan. This project will improve the whole industry level of Tianjin engineering machinery.

 LiuGong product lines include wheel loader, ranging from 1.5 to 10 tons, hydraulic excavators, with bucket capacity from 0.11 to 1.2 m3, rollers and operating weight from 10 to 25 tons, road equipment which includes pavers, motor graders and milling machines, multipurpose compact products which includes skid-steer loaders and backhoe loaders, and the recently developed forklift trucks, etc.

R & D Strength
Nearly 500 engineers work in the Company’s own national-class Technology Center and Post-Doctoral Station, making its leading strength in R & D. Over the last decade more than 10 models of LiuGong products have won national awards and honors, such as “Chinese Top Brand” for LiuGong wheel loader, and the second prize of National Technology Development for the Plateau-type wheel loader which developed in 2002 as the first in the world. In addition, LiuGong core products have passed the CE certificate and successfully entered the European and North American premium market.
