Yanmar's first tractor assembly factory in North America was celebrated with a ground breaking ceremony in Adairsville, Georgia. This historical event was held with senior management from Yanmar along with local dignitaries. In the Japanese tradition, the site was blessed with a ceremonial tree cutting and cleansed with the pouring of salt and sake. Destined to start production 2008, the 200,000 sq. ft facility will assemble top quality compact utility tractors and construction equipment for the North American market.
