“We’ve been marketing Doosan Products in Zhejiang province since 2001. Our sales office is located in Ningbo, and we have sales representatives stationed in Wenzhou, Taizhou and Jinhua. Our main customers in Zhejiang are automotive parts makers, and most of them are privately owned. Therefore, competition is keen.
The Demand for Doosan machine tools in Zhejjang province is soaring, thanks mainly to the reliable quality and high precision of the products. The growing number of units sold and the sales growth rate reflects how well customers are satisfied with Doosan Machine Tools. Doosan has quickly responded to market trends as well as the pace of market evolvements in Zhejjang. Please keep your efforts in this regard in the future.
Last December we established a demonstration showroom in Ningbo, taking our marketing activities to the next level. Currently we’re showing five different models that are being produced at Yantai.
I believe that offering excellent service is just as important as new product and technology development. Doosan’s after-sales service has helped to establish a solid brand that the public trusts. In this regard, I am hoping to find more regular service training session to improve dealers’ ability. Right now, two of our service technicians are receiving training at the Doosan Shanghai branch.
Boosting our service capabilities is one of our priorities in 2007. We’ll hire more technicians and dispatch sales representatives to Hangzhou.”
“Syracuse Supply celebrates its 122nd year in 2007, and our annual sales are US$14 million. We supply to major players such as Boeing in the aerospace, pharmaceutical equipment and automotive parts industries. As we maintain our current sales channels, we’re now working hard to cultivate new markets.
We’ve been working with Doosan for five years now; Doosan was in the process of market expansion when we came on board as a dealer. Not satisfied with the status quo, Doosan has been making multifaceted efforts to develop products and technologies that are ever better. I’m impressed by the nonstop efforts at innovation; that’s why we want to maintain our relationship as a dealer. Our overall sales have risen steadily since we established the Doosan dealership.
Doosan has continued to develop new technologies and products and is now a technology leader, but now it seems to be the time to expand the range of high-end models. I hope to see wide range of line-up in the future.
Customers were confused immediately after the brand name was changed. To minimize this confusion, DIA and all the dealers revamped the brand management concept, and we focused our resources on the new brand message out. As a result, we have steadily built up a high-class brand identity.
We have to gather voice of customers in order to be selected by them. I am sure that Doosan is eager to cope with more quickly and appropriately to market requirements than the competitors do.”
“Mills Manufacturing has been doing business in Northern Ireland since 1981 and is Doosan’s oldest dealer in Europe. We have been leading the market share of the turning center, and our customers include such big names as Rolls-Royce, British Aerospace and Kawasaki. Our success has been made possible by providing Doosan’s high-tech machines with specially designed option application. We have improved our own flexibility in terms of technical expertise to accommodate diverse customer needs. Mills has won Doosan’s Technical Dealer Award in Europe each of the past three years.
Customers now perceive Doosan as “dynamic,” thanks to the brand successful migration and the accompanying design innovations. Moreover, Doosan’s rapid technology advances and market inroads have added to the dynamic and progressive image of the Doosan brand and products. Moreover, the company’s solid success can be attributed to the joint efforts of the Head Office and the local dealers.
Doosan is competitive in terms of performance, durability and quality, but the company still does not measure up with the leading global competitors in all respects. Thus, the company promises to offer an even higher level of service and technology, and Mills will continuously maintain a close relationship with Doosan in the future.”
