On December 1, 2010, the superiors from American SHERWIN-WILLIAMS Group including the Safety Director Mr. Dave Swenson, Engineering Manager of Asian-Pacific Area Mr. Chan Lek Who and Deputy Manager of Safety Department of the Branch Company Mr. Yang Yong visited Changsha Xiangpu Flame-Proof Vehicle Co., Ltd. (Xiangpu for short) to investigate the comprehensive production capacity of Xiangpu and prepare for their site selection of producing ex-proof equipment. 

SHERWIN-WILLIAMS is the third largest group company in the global field of coating production. Headquartered in America, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS has many branch companies in the world, and has developed rapidly with extraordinary performance on the market of China.

During the visit and investigation, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS and Xiangpu communicated sincerely on the aspects of corporate management, sales and technologies, especially on the detailed information related to the design, manufacturing, testing and authentication of the ex-proof equipment. The guests then visited the production lines and workshops of Xiangpu, listening to the introduction of Xiangpu staff on the structures, features and performances of the equipment in the ex-proof modification process, which were in different brands such as TCM, Toyota, Mitsubishi, JAC, HELI and Yuchai. On the testing site, Xiangpu demonstrated the driving and operating process of a modified Mitsubishi ex-proof forklift, including the operation of starting, fetching materials, lifting materials, climbing a slope, turning, braking and emergency shutdown.

At the end of the visit, both SHERWIN-WILLIAMS and Xiangpu agreed to strengthen the communication and cooperation in the future so as to create an opportunity for win-win.
