President Geewon Park of Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction donated US$ 430,000 to Yonsei University to support the construction of the Business Administration Hall on December 15.

In attendance at a signing ceremony for a donation to support the construction of the Business Administration Hall held at the office of Yonsei University’s president were President Han-joong Kim; Sang-jo Lee, Vice President for Administration and External Affairs; and Sang-yong Park, Dean of the College of Business Administration from Yonsei University, along with President Geewon Park, Executive Director Seong-hun Lee and Bo-geun Jin from Doosan.

During the ceremony, President Park said, “I hope that this fund will contribute to improving the environment for study and education in a small way,” adding, “We hope that Yonsei University will grow into a world-class business school that nurtures global human resources.”

Yonsei University plans to demolish Yongjae Hall, previously a building of the Education Science College, and construct a Business Administration Hall at the site by 2013.
