Expert heavy equipment movers, Flegg Projects and one of the US' largest high-capacity material-handling dealers, Forklift Exchange have joined forces to distribute and service high-capacity extendable forklifts in the UK.

The new partnership will significantly reduce lead times for large stock orders or a single unit and provide the highest quality forklifts in the world.

The partnership will also deliver cost effective equipment, servicing and repairs to the UK and European market.

As a customer of Forklift Exchange for years, Flegg Projects has knowledge and experience of its equipment, having tried and tested all of its products and proven their reliability ahead of this new partnership.

Products available thanks to this new partnership include the Gen II Hoist, with new creep mode, where hydraulic functions are slowed down at the push of a button for precise movement and control at high rpm.

It includes grade holding, with automatic brake engagement if the drive motors change direction while the operator is not applying the accelerator, limiting rollback while on an incline.

Flegg Projects are able to offer the Hoist FR series in models 25/35, 40/60 and 60/80, as well as Royal Rig-N-Lift series in models 80/100 and 100/140.

As well as the enhanced benefits for its customers, the Flegg Projects team will be upskilled with Forklift Exchange training to support its workshop expansion, and there will be increased recruitment and development opportunities moving forward.
