Hyundai Material Handling Europe has expanded its UK dealer network, with the appointment of long-established forklift truck specialist NDLT.
Based in Corby, Northamptonshire, NDLT has been a Hyundai sub-dealer since 2005 and signed as a main dealer at the end of 2024.
Led by Ian Chapman, David Keech and Bobby Keech, the family-run company has 14 employees, including eight engineers, with many years of forklift experience between them.
Founded in Corby in 1988 and moving to its current location in 2012, NDLT operates a rental fleet of more than 150 forklifts and services around 250 others on behalf of a wide range of businesses within the area.
This includes warehousing, engineering, construction and agricultural customers. The business covers Northamptonshire, parts of Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire.
“Corby was first industrialised in the 1930’s and to this day there are a lot of factories and warehouses in the area,” said Mr Chapman.
“The forklift is an integral part of the production process for most of our customers and as we originated as a service-based company, gaining a reputation for fast response and excellent repair outcomes, we have continued that ethos and we are still looking after many of our clients nearly 40 years later.
"Indeed, we have several customers who are operating their third or fourth generation Hyundai Forklift Truck.”
He concluded: “The Hyundai brand name is renowned worldwide for high specification, reliability and value.
"Hyundai Material Handling Equipment embodies this reputation and now has a strong brand name in the forklift business.
"We are looking forward to an exciting future and continued success as Hyundai adds new products to the range this year.”
