Kion North America has released a new electric forklift range to the North American market, the Linde Series 1293.

The E25BHP has an easy-to-access battery charging port

The range includes the E20BHP and E25BHP electric counterbalance forklifts with 4,000 lb. to 5,000 lb. (1.8 T to 2.3 T) capacity, both powered by Linde Li-ION batteries.

Jena-Christine Lawrence, director of product management and product strategy, says the new electric models can compete with traditional internal combustion forklifts in day-to-day outdoor applications. 

Lawrence says the water-resistant design opens the door to outdoor stacking, storage and transport, with both new models equipped with an ultra-durable one-piece steer axle which improves durability while driving over bumpy and uneven terrain.

“The Linde 1293 is adaptable to a wide range of applications and customer types,” she says. 

“The E20BHP and E25BHP … combine sustainable power with exceptional performance, making these models the ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor applications.”

Both models have easy-to-access battery charging ports to allow operators to make use of opportunity charging.
