Founder Jason Bratton says the business was launched to fill the gaps left by traditional forklift companies with more bulky products.
"The 24/7 nature of today's business world demands efficiency, innovation and accuracy," says the ePicker general manager. "Current supply chain constraints are creating shortages in materials handling equipment. Customers want solutions that are different than what has been done before."
ePicker equipment is built in China and sold through a national distribution network, which Bratton hopes to grow by adding dealers.
The business is a culmination of Bratton's 27 years in the materials handling space, which began in a family-run forklift dealership. More recently, he worked with Shoppa's Material Handling in Texas, with roles including national account sales, fleet services director and director of national accounts.
Already, he says, the new equipment line is attracting attention. "We are seeing more than 80% of our product demonstrations turn into instant sales at client locations. We believe our product line fills a gap where other suppliers fall short," he says.
