Brubakken AS in Norway and Brubakken AB in Sweden have been appointed as distributors of Hyster equipment.

"We are pleased and proud that Hyster has chosen us as a partner going forward," says Anders Henni, CEO of Brubakken AS in Norway. "Our organisations have the same focus on helping customers to benefit from more efficient materials handling and to make operations easier every day. Brubakken's broad service network together with the strong Hyster product range will help us to increase volumes and market share in both Norway and Sweden."
Brubakken will cease its activities with other competing truck brands and invest wholeheartedly in Hyster. The company previously distributed TCM, Konecranes and Merlinum materials handling equipment. Over the past year, it has discontinued its interest in construction machinery and shifted its forklift business into a separate company, enabling Brubakken to focus 100% on the core business of materials handling equipment and forklifts.
"Brubakken and Hyster fit very well as partners due to their long experience in the industry. Hyster has an industry-leading telematics system, Hyster Tracker, and makes major investments in future and sustainable technology. This ensures the right focus on the future and helps us become our customers' natural first choice, today and in the future," says Adam Hamilton, CEO for Brubakken AB in Sweden.
Brubakken has strengthened its sales capacity throughout 2020, with plans to further strengthen the organisation in future.
"Hyster is very pleased with this new partnership. Brubakken's market competencies complement Hyster's, and we are confident that together we can provide new and existing Hyster customers with even more value," says Benno Bonde, regional manager, Nordics for Hyster. "Brubakken is indeed a strong partner for our tough trucks and together we aim to build a long-term relationship and be a serious player in all market segments."
Meanwhile, Nordisk Truck Trans will continue to also market Hyster trucks in Sweden.
