Hangcha has established a Canadian subsidiary, Hangcha Forklift Canada, headquartered in Montreal.

Hangcha expands in Canada

As part of its global expansion, Hangcha has set up its 26,500 sqft. (2,500 sqm) Canadian distribution centre in Montreal, Quebec.

Hangcha has been active in Canada since October 2019, and has ramped up operations, now boasting a growing, comprehensive parts inventory with more than 200 vehicles available in real time.

The company says it is now looking to expand its Canadian dealership network.

The opening of the Canadian facility comes in the wake of the 2017 establishment of HC Forklift America, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Hangcha was established in 1956. In 1974, the company switched to the exclusive manufacture of forklifts. In 2018, Hangcha was ranked eighth on the global list of materials handling equipment manufacturers and last year, it sold more than 200,000 new units.
