UgoWork, a company dedicated to powering the material handling equipment industry, has unveiled its Energy as a Service (EaaS) solution for its lithium-ion batteries. EaaS is a pay-per-use program based on energy consumption. Companies are invoiced based on the work the equipment does and the solution requires no initial investment.
All of UgoWork’s batteries are connected through the internet of things to its cloud. Energy experts monitor the batteries in real time, provide seamless preventive maintenance, and replace depleted batteries for free and recycle the old batteries.
The batteries come with an ergonomic universal charging station that works with any lift truck, no matter the size. The charging station measures 12 inches by 10 inches by 5 inches. This small footprint allows companies to install them at every strategic location within a plant or warehouse.
