Work has started on a new Haulotte plant in China.

The facility will be the flagship of Haulotte's ambition in China, with a factory spanning 44,000 sqm on an 80,000 sqm site. The plant will enable Haulotte to expand local production, which will soon include both telescopic and articulated booms.

Located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, close to the company's original plant, the new facility will benefit from the latest technologies in terms of organisation and process, such as the capacity to design locally customised solutions. The site is conveniently located near the highway which will ease logistics and allow Haulotte to be closer to local suppliers.

The factory is scheduled to open in the first half of 2022.

Haulotte established its first office in China 15 years ago to focus on selling equipment. Not long after, Haulotte Group built a dedicated manufacturing facility to serve the country and several export markets.
