Raniero has delivered the first AC250-8-CO 120V forklift with a lowered height profile to South Korea. The truck was developed for a Korean company producing special steels for the aerospace industry.

The project is the result of a collaboration with Manho Trading, distributor of forklifts and logistics solutions in South Korea, and a second truck with similar specifications will be delivered next year.

The custom models are based on the AC250-8-CO 120V which can lift 25 T at 800 mm load centre. The forklift has been lowered from the standard 3,100 mm to a total height of 2,690 mm to allow the forklift to pass between doors and tunnels 2,900 mm high.

It is equipped with a triplex mast with free lift, side shifter independent from the fork positioner, and two interchangeable fork kits.

The truck has also been fitted with two 120 V 1860 Ah batteries, each to be available for unloading/loading lorries and in stock within 24 hours. Each battery offers an operating autonomy of seven hours and takes less than three minutes to exchange.

The value of the order and identity of the buyer were not disclosed.
