Mike Vernon has been active within the automated materials handling industry for over 35 years. He is currently a director of the Automated Material Handling Systems Association and President of the British Material Handling Systems Federation.
His role as UK head of innovation for Kuehne + Nagel involves spearheading the 3PL company’s drive to automate and investigate new technologies which might improve operational efficiency.
Mike will be exploring the distribution centre of the (near) future, the trends towards autonomous operation, and discuss automated technology options.
