GT Radial's long-haul portfolio has been expanded with the launch of the GTL919, a new trailer pattern available in 19.5" and 22.5" sizes.

The tyre has been developed for maximum return-on-investment ownership, with a dedicated compound formula, extra deep optimised tread and wide shoulder ribs ensuring regular wear as well as reducing fuel consumption and increase mileage potential.

Additional upper sidewall protection provides enhanced resistance to cuts and tearing, especially from curbing damage. 

The GTL919 is available in five sizes - 385/55R22.5, 386/65R22.5, 245/70R19.5, 265/70R19.5 and 285/70R19.5 - with weight indexes from 160K to 141/140J to ensure the range covers a significant proportion of long haul trailer specifications in the European market.

Giti Tire, manufacturers of the GT Radial brand, also confirmed that 17.5" sizes will enter production in 2016.

All new heavy truck and bus products are the result of the company's advanced testing and evaluation programme, with more than 1,000 units on field test across Europe at anytime. All casings are designed for retreading using both cold and hot processes.
