The machines were officially handed over to Poul Steiness, CEO on 31st July, marking one of the first deliveries of Genie SX-150 lifts.
The latest addition to the Genie boom lift family, the Genie SX-150 is ideal for the rental market, with four pre-programmable platform heights (46 m (151 ft), 41.2 m (135 ft), 36.6 m (120 ft) and 30.5 m (100 ft)) and easy transportation thanks to the XC-Chassis™ design which enables transport on a standard flat-bed truck.
Poul Steiness, Owner of Steiness Liftcenter commented: “The price versus expectation for a high utilization-rate is extraordinarily good for the Genie SX-150. It has a large working envelope both in height and reach with a 340 kg maximum capacity boom lift on a rotating jib arm. The unrestricted working envelope provides one of the biggest advantages, which meets the challenging needs of the developing housing construction market in Denmark.”
The two new Genie SX-150 lifts add to an ever growing fleet of high access boom lifts for Steiness Liftcenter, including two Genie SX-180 lifts of which the first was delivered to the company in November 2014.
“We are always looking to provide our customers with safe and economical solutions to working at height. Therefore, we have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Genie SX-150 lift and we expect to have good utilization of the machine from the start,” says Steiness. “The ease of operation and drive at height capabilities makes this machine ideal for the rental market. I am looking forward to hearing feedback from our customers about their experiences over the coming months.”
