Toyota’s hydrostatic Tonero HST meets the high demands of the ceramics sector
转载 2015-07-14 13:31 Toyota Source:ToyotaCooperativa Facchini Portabagagli (CFP), a third-party logistics provider located in Modena (Italy), has for 40 years been involved in goods handling, cleaning, warehouse logistics and transport. The company covers a wide range of industrial sectors in the Emilia Romagna region from automotive and ceramics sectors to the pharmaceutical and meat industry.
Last March they implemented a total of 27 Toyota Tonero HST 3 ton hydrostatic trucks to their customer in the region, a ceramics company. The ceramic tile industry is an important sector in Italy and among the most demanding ones for a forklift truck. Such applications favour the use of hydrostatic trucks due to the characteristics of the transmission.
CFP chose the Toyota Tonero HST because it offers features that are critical for the ceramics sector such as access on both sides, excellent all round visibility, easy access for maintenance, the possibility to adjust the machine settings and of course superb stability offered by Toyota’s unique System of Active Stability (SAS).
“The Tonero HST is a unique machine,” explains Andrea Zannoni, regional manager at TMH IT. ”It combines hydrostatic technology with SAS that ensures safety and productivity for the operator and that is exactly what customers operating in challenging environments such as the ceramics sector are asking for.”
Thanks to its high efficiency in narrow places, the Tonero HST from Toyota Material Handling (TMH) stands out with its quick direction change, its automatic braking effect and the simplicity in loading and unloading operations.
“We appreciate that a multinational company like Toyota is able to understand our specific needs,” says Danilo Sarti, president of CFP, “We have been working with Toyota for six years. In TMH we found a reliable and flexible partner that supports us to find the best solutions for our customers.”
