The website, which will initially support equipment sales in the U.S. and Canada, will feature a wide variety of brands and machine types, as well as exclusive JLG factory-reconditioned machines and JLG-certified pre-owned machines. Some machines will carry warranties of up to three years, depending on condition. Payment options include credit card, Automated Clearing House (ACH) and financing. Users will even be able to arrange and pay for shipping their purchase.
“JLGUsed.com is not just a listing of pre-owned equipment for sale; you will be able to complete the entire transaction—from browsing to buying—online,” said JLG’s vice president of global aftermarket Jonathan Dawley. “It is also the only place customers can buy JLG-certified used equipment or JLG factory-reconditioned machines. Best of all, it’s used equipment from a name you know and trust.”
If users do not find a specific make or model, they can create a personal wish list online (an industry first-of-a-kind feature at JLGUsed.com), and JLG will work to source it for them. Users will be able to search by customizable criteria, view product photos, and review all features and specifications. The website is also optimized for use on mobile devices for added convenience.
