Salt seekers head for Slingsby
转载 2013-01-29 10:15 mhwmagazine Source:mhwmagazineThe current freezing temperatures combined with snow and ice have resulted in workplace equipment supplier Slingsby, which launched a specialist salt distribution facility and bagging plant last year, striving to meet the demand for salt and winter products that the current weather conditions are creating.
Lee Wright, Marketing Director at Slingsby, which supplies 35,000 workplace products across all industries, says: "At a time when many suppliers are running out of salt we still hold healthy stock levels and are delighted to be able deliver much needed salt to our customers on our free next day delivery service.
"We're currently supplying salt to everyone from businesses buying five kilogram bags through to local authorities and large organisations with multiple sites that are buying several tonnes at a time. Plus with weather forecasters predicting that the current cold snap is here to stay for the foreseeable future this level of demand looks set to continue."
Lee adds: "In addition we're also selling high numbers of other winter products, including snow shovels and grit bins, to both the domestic and commercial markets."
