Jungheinrich, world-class supplier of industrial vehicles, warehouse technology and logistics system, held a grand ceremony for the opening of Jungheinrich Shenyang Branch on January 11, 2013 at Crowne Plaza in Shenyang. This opening ceremony, also an exchange meeting for new technologies, was held by Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and sponsored by Shenyang Branch of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., inviting more than 70 guests to the site including superiors form Jungheinrich (Shanghai), representatives of Jungheinrich key accounts, and also employees from Jumgheinrich Shenyang Branch. On the ceremony, presided by Liu Feng, Marketing Department of Jungheinrich (Shanghai), the General Manager of Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Alexander Oezbahadir firstly showed his gratitude to the support of all the guests the opening of Jungheinrich Shenyang Branch. He said that along with the establishment of the branch company, Jungheinrich would go forward to provide quality material handling equipment and better logistics solutions for the customers, and the Group would invest more on expanding forklift rental, used forklift sales and forklift retrofit business in China. Jungheinrich would in the future open more branches in other cities such as Qingdao, Shandong Province to accelerate the expansion of market in China based on strong sales team, he continued. At present, Jungheinrich has more than 200,000 customers in the global world, providing on-time and outstanding service for the customers in different countries backed up by a professional after sales team. Song Ximing, Product Manager of Jungheinrich (Shanghai)  Logistics System Department made a speech on the ceremony, concentrating the theme of Jungheinrich’s complete logistics systems. No matter the expansion, optimization and modernization of the existing warehouses, or a totally new logistic project, Jungheinrich would design an all-round service solution, from the improvement of warehouses, the usage of material handling system to the transporting lines which included the material storage and picking-up from the racks. As the contractor of the project, Jungheinrich would coordinate the working schedules with each department so as to assure the integrity of the system. He also explained elaborately from the budget planning, system synthesis to the final repair and maintenance. 

Mr. Miki, Director of Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Rental, Used and Retrofitted Forklift Department gave a detailed explanation on Jungheinrich’s unique solutions. Miki analyzed the development status and future tendency of rental forklifts, used forklifts and forklift retrofit as well as the reason why customers chose used forklifts, sharing Jungheinrich’s experiences on maintaining forklift equipment and highlights on finance and after sales. There were more than 700 sets of rental forklifts in China, covering different models, load capacities, lifting heights and parts. The rental forklift fleet could meet the customers’ demands perfectly, and also satisfied the requirements of short-term rental. Unified retrofits and delivery standard guaranteed the high quality of used forklifts, which were directly from the manufacturers. Since 2012, the repairing workshops built in Qingpu started to provide retrofitted forklifts under the same quality standard with Europe, offering more choices to the Chinese customers. Moreover, Jungheinrich owned a modern parts warehouse in Shanghai, storing 30,000 parts. Relying on the intensive service network, Jungheinrich shortened the response time to provide rapid service for the customers as the accessory parts could be delivered to the main cities within 24 hours, adding more weights on the process of expanding Chinese market.

Gu Hao, Director of Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Sales Strategy Department spoke on the topic of Jungheinrich’s YELLOW concept. “Yellow stands not only for the color of Jungheinrich forklifts, but also a concept for new energy. To improve energy usage, balance the rate of the energy usage, low the emission and reduce the harm on the environment will always be the goal of Jungheinrich in the future production and development,” said Gu, “Jungheinrich conducted the investigation of suitability of forklifts in the development process of the product, laying sound foundation on the recovery of parts. During the manufacturing and after sales service, Jungheinrich has a stricter requirement on the ecological design of forklifts than the existing regulations, trying the best to save more raw materials and energies so as to make full use of the resources.” In order to increase the interests of the young employees in the schools towards the scientific and ergonomics, Jungheinrich specially set a scholarship system, encouraging the young people to think about the most important issues: study, research, time and experience so as to cultivate the interests of the young people in terms of technologies.

On the banquet, General Manager of Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Alexander Oezbahadir and Gu Hao, Director of Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Sales Strategy Department touched the crystal ball to announce the opening of Shenyang Branch. After that, Alexander Oezbahadir toasted on the banquet and Shenyang Branch as the sponsor prepared programs for the guests.
