Daily Equipment was previously an MCFA dealership, and it has multiple locations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana. Now that the company is owned by Houston-based MCFA, it will no longer be a dealership for Crown-brand lift trucks, and it will only deal with Cat, Mitsubishi and Jungheinrich brands, which are manufactured and distributed by MCFA.
“The acquisition of Daily Equipment Co. was an excellent investment opportunity that will help strengthen MCFA’s distribution network and further expand MCFA’s dealership holdings in important markets,” Kent Eudy, MCFA’s vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
MCFA did not disclose the price of the acquisition.
In September, MCFA revealed that the company was expanding its production capacity in Houston and stopping production at some facilities overseas. With this local expansion, MCFA said it would better service U.S. customers.
