On September 15, 2011, the review meeting for China’s top industrial trucks suppliers sponsored by Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association (CITA for short) was grandly held in Xining, Qinghai Province. There were totally 58 people including the judges from the industrial truck manufactories and representatives from the applicant enterprises, and also the media including Chinaindustrialtruck.com and Chinaforklift.com (www.chinaforklift.com, English version: www.forkliftnet.com). It was informed that on the review meeting, the experts would listen to the introduction of the applicant enterprises by the representatives, and then give scores to the applicant enterprises according to the reports, information and the matching situation of the industrial truck manufactories handed in by the enterprise.

There were 14 judges on the review meeting, respectively from Anhui Forklift Group Co., Ltd., Hangcha Group Co., Ltd., Linde (China) Forklift Co., Ltd., Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd., Ningbo Ruyi Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Noblelift Equipment Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Shanghai Liugong Forklift Co., Ltd., Forklift Branch from Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Global Friend Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Maximal Forklift Co., Ltd., Yituo (Luoyang) Transportation Machinery Co., Ltd., Wuxi Huifeng Machinery Co., Ltd., China Hoisting & Conveying Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and State Construction Machinery Supervision and Test Center. 39 matching parts enterprises took part in the review and 28 enterprises were introduced on site, including Anhui Inco Intelligent Control Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Hengjiu Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Wanda Special Bearing Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Jiachen Electric Co., Ltd., Cascade (Hebei) Forklift Fork Co., Ltd., Tianjin Shimadzu Hydraulic Equipment Co., Ltd., Zibo Torch Energy Co., Ltd., Cascade (Xiamen) Forklift Truck Attachments Co., Ltd., Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. Bengbu Hydraulic Machinery Factory, Anhui Heli Holdings Co., Ltd. In addition, Hefei Huiyi Hydraulic Technology Co., Ltd., Hefei Detong Technology & Trade Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Huazhuang Metal Hose Factory also attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary General of Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association Zhang Jie firstly introduced the purpose and significance of choosing the best industrial trucks suppliers in China.

“After the development and innovation in more than half a century, the industrial truck industry in China experienced obvious improvement in terms of developing environment, fast growth in the scale of production and sales, great optimization of product structure, dramatic enhancement of technological level and gradual sophistication of marketing service, becoming the number one market in the global world. Along with the rapid development of forklift enterprises, the matching parts enterprises also walked on the road of fast development to be more scaled, normalized and standardized, receiving eye-attractive achievements. A number of excellent matching parts suppliers emerged and became the support and guarantee for the industrial truck industry in China to develop in a better and faster way,” said Zhang Jie, “however, it was undeniable that the fundamental matching parts to the industrial truck industry in China was still weak in development with uneven manufacturing quality, especially the key parts including electric elements, hydraulic elements and driving parts that were heavily relying on the import, strongly hindering the continuous and healthy development of the industrial truck industry in China.”

“Now we need the twelfth five-year planning as the guidance of the whole industry so as to pay more attention and give more supports to the development of the matching parts industry taking the strategic and general perspectives to target at long-term growth,” Zhang Jie continued, “that is also the main reason why CITA holds this activity to choose the best matching parts suppliers in the industrial truck industry, through which the customers could know more about the development of the industry. These excellent suppliers can be the benchmarks of the industry, and those who are intending to enter the field of matching parts for industrial trucks and dedicated to push forward the progress of industrial truck industry can have more clear targets and options according to the deficiency of the industry, changing the traditional concepts to weigh much on the forklift trucks and less on the parts so as to promote the sound and smooth development of the whole industry.”

Meanwhile, Secretary General Zhang also pointed out that this election of top industrial truck suppliers and matching parts suppliers was a non-profitable activity organized by CITA. “Our tenet is to take Sincerity, Normalization, Coordination and Win-win as the keywords to inspire the matching parts enterprises in the industrial truck industry in China to go on a higher level, expand to a larger scale and march to a wider developing road, in order to give impetus to the industrial truck industry to transfer the developing method to realize a better and faster development,” said Zhang Jie, “it is an important issue related to the continuous and sound development of the whole industry, thus we need to stick to a high standard and starting point, to conduct along a strict and normalized way, assuring to be just and fair under the principle of high quality. To safeguard the seriousness and authority of the judging activity, CITA and the judging members will enhance the management and be active to receive the supervisions. Any enterprise intending to provide fake information will be revoked their qualification to this judging activity, and the related personnel will be responsible for the consequences.”
 
Then, Secretary General Zhang expressed her gratitude on behalf of CITA to all the judging members to attend this review meeting, and reiterated her hope that each member could strictly appraise the enterprises and score them according to the electing guidelines.
 
After the address of Secretary General Zhang Jie from CITA, the representatives from the 28 applicant enterprises introduced the companies briefly to the judging members. They did a great preparation job, and gave reports from such aspects as the development situation of the enterprises, qualification authentication and process control capacity, new product development and technological innovation capacity, marketing sales capacity, growing potentials and the breakthroughs in terms of key technologies related to the development of the whole industrial truck industry. The judging members carefully listened to the reports, and recorded the highlights in the introductions. After the introduction to the applicant enterprises, the judging members moved to the scoring period, during which they read the application materials handed in by the applicants, and also knew clearly about the enterprises which could not show up in the meeting.

The meeting came to an end in the afternoon, and scores would have been issued recently on CITA website. It was informed that at the end of October when CITA held the annual meeting, the Standing Council would determine the final list of enterprise that won the title of China’s Top Industrial Trucks Suppliers according to the scores.

From September 16 to 17, 2011, the organization arranged a visit and investigation travel for all the representatives, making sure that the industrial truck factories and matching parts factories could have a closer communication and deeper understanding towards each other. The representatives told the media that the review meeting was successfully closed, on which the industrial truck manufacturers had a thorough acquaintance to the matching parts enterprise and a renewed image to the enterprises that had no specified matching companies. As for the matching parts enterprises, they thought that it was a precious opportunity provided by this review meeting so that they could introduce themselves to such a large number of excellent industrial truck manufacturers in domestic China. They held the same willing, to create a better developing environment inside the industry so as to further enhance the quality of the parts matched to the industrial trucks, especially in terms of breaking through the bottlenecks lying in producing key elements and parts to meet the demands of industrial truck manufacturers’ development.
　　
With the active participation of the representatives, the review meeting was successfully closed, and every one was looking forward to the announcement of the election results on the annual meeting of CITA in the end of October.
