Toyota is offering a forklift with a smaller battery compartment that allows the vehicle to work in smaller spaces.

The new 27-inch battery compartment option is available on Toyota’s 8-Series four-wheel forklifts, made exclusively by Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing at its Columbus plant.

The company said in a press release that the new design is “ideally suited for … indoor material handling needs.”
