On August 5, 2011, Manitou Telescopic Handler Show was held in Hangzhou. On this new product show, Manitou, as the largest and most advanced telescopic handling equipments supplier in the global world, exhibited series of their high-specific and high-tech products including telescopic handlers, counterbalanced terrain forklifts and aerial working platforms,  which could present the company most to the dealers, customers and media in the specialized industry in mainland China.

In the indoor exhibition held in Hangzhou City Inn, the superiors from Manitou Asia PTE Ltd. conducted detailed introduction on their Manitou BF and several series of their products. Manitou BF headquartered in Ancenis, France, besides where Manitou owned 10 production bases in Italy, China and America, 23 branch companies and more than 600 sales points in the world. At present, Manitou sold their products to 120 countries, being the leading manufacturing company to supply rough terrain material handling equipments. The products from Manitou were widely used in the fields such as industrial sectors, construction and agriculture. Till 2004, Manitou BF had sold more than 200,000 sets of products in the whole world. 

In the headquarter of Manitou in China, all the guests to the product show watched the demonstration of various operating types, including driving MT1440SLT non-rotating rough terrain telescopic handlers and MRT1840Easy rotating rough terrain telescopic handlers, changing attachments with different functions, simulating the handling of different construction materials on the construction sites and multiple people working at heights. The rough terrain telescopic handlers from Manitou were endowed with multiple functions through changing 200 kinds of attachments. The power plants on the telescopic handlers were reliable, stable and powerful, besides which the telescopic handlers had a relatively small turning radius and effective capacity of driving through the rough terrain, making the handlers to carry out tasks with excellent quality on different surfaces and operating situations.

Manitou entered China in 2006. To hold such a product show, Manitou was aiming to show the practical application of rough terrain telescopic handlers to all the customers so as to push forward the reform of material handling equipment in China.
