□ On July 16, Doosan (Chairman, Y.H. Park) held a ceremony for the donation of 2 units of heavy equipment to the Royal Saint Georges Golf Course in Sandwich, England, where The Open Championship is being held.

□ The donation is for The R&A by Doosan, which is the only Korean business providing support for the said golf championship. Doosan Corp. Chairman Yongmaan Park, President Geewon Park of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, and Chief Executive of the The R&A, Peter Dawson, attended the donation ceremony.

□ The 3 units of heavy equipment donated by Doosan are a telescopic handler (to be used for golf course landscaping and maintenance) and 2 utility vehicles (to be used for emergency purposes).

□ Commenting on Doosan’s donation, Mr. Peter Dawson said, "These equipment will be beneficially used for The Open Championship. It is hoped that the championship will help Doosan establish a greater brand awareness in the global market.”

□ As a business group aiming to join the world’s top 200 business by 2020, Doosan has become the official patron for The Open since 2010 to enhance its brand recognition in Europe and North America.
