Liebherr-Aerospace has been selected by Helicopter Manufacturer AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, for the latest member of AgustaWestland’s helicopter family AW169. Liebherr-Aerospace’s Environmental Control Systems cover a wide range of functions to ensure comfort, safety and operational performance such as cooling, heating and de-mysting. The system features highly compact, lightweight, high-reliability components dispatched across the cockpit and cabin to ease integration and maintenance.

This new contract awarded by AgustaWestland to Liebherr-Aerospace further expands the already wide relationship between the two companies, which started with the AW139 helicopter. With this contract Liebherr-Aerospace is now proud to provide at least one major system to each one of the AgustaWestland’s latest programs.
