New Holland Construction m-series telehandler named in Construction Equipment magazine’s Top 100 pro

CAROL STREAM, ILL. ( Jan. 30, 2008) – Construction Equipment magazine has named the New Holland Construction M-Series telehandler as one of the top 100 products of 2007. The M-Series telehandler is recognized in the lifting and material handling category as one of the most exciting product introductions of this past year. All New Holland Construction M-Series telehandler models provide attachment-handling versatility. A low-boom design provides 360-degree visibility and additional features like four-wheel drive and three-mode steering provide enhanced traction and maneuverability on the jobsite. The three new models – M427, M428 and M459 - have maximum lift capacity ratings of 6,600, 8,000, and 9,000 pounds, respectively. Both the M427 and the M428 models have lift heights of 42 feet, while the M459 lift height reaches 45 feet. “The new M-Series telehandlers are more versatile and provide features to increase efficiency at the job site,” said Edgar J. Chavez, director of marketing, New Holland Construction, North America. “We are continuously innovating and refining our products to ensure operator safety and productivity. We are proud that the M-Series telehandlers , developed as resulted of a global platform, have been recognized as one of the top 100 products of 2007 by Construction Equipment.” Construction Equipment editors annually select the 100 most exciting product introductions of the year. Advances in technology, new product lines, and significant improvement to existing products are considered to determine the top 100. The product must also have been featured in the magazine between November 2006 and October 2007. All New Holland Construction M-Series models feature single joystick control and two high-flow gear pumps. The M428 and M459 models are available with optional stabilizers.
