The award is presented by the American National Safety Council to companies that have an injury record that is better than their industry average. Safety Director Bob Trachsler, Konecranes, Region Americas, will receive the award on behalf of Konecranes at the National Safety Council's annual awards banquet on October 16, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois.
"We are very proud to accept this award," says Bob Trachsler. "Safety is a priority one issue at Konecranes and receiving this award for the fifth time in a row shows that we are on the right track."
National Safety Council is the United States' leading non-profit, membership based organization dedicated to protecting life and promoting health. It has more than 51,000 member companies in the United States.
