A team of Crown sales people set off to prove they could 'go the extra mile' recently. The Warrington Sales Team walked an astonishing fifty five miles around the Isle of Wight as part of a Charity Challenge and raised over £5,000 for Cancer Research.
Steve McMaster, Crown's Northern Regional Sales Manager, and his team completed the walk in just twenty hours leaving at six o'clock on Friday evening and finishing at two on Saturday afternoon.
The rest of the team comprised, Key Account Managers Simon Barkworth and Matt Corris , Territory Sales Managers Andy Otter, Steve Mayne and Dave Sullivan and Territory Sales Executives Paul Larkin, Drew Burford and Dave Binch.
"It was terrifically hard work but also great fun," said Steve McMaster. Last year we did the three peaks challenge, this year 55 miles round the Isle of Wight. Who knows what we'll be up to next year."
Just like Crown trucks, it seems that Crown's sales team are also renowned for their endurance.
