SPX Service Solutions, Charlotte, NC (USA), has entered into a definite agreement with KION Group GmbH to acquire Matra-Werke GmbH, Frankfurt am Main.

Matra-Werke is an after-sales service provider which does not form part of the KION Group's core business and currently employs 22 staff. The company arranges and coordinates the production and inventory management of special tools, and the delivery of these tools to the workshops of a major German car manufacturer.

The transaction is subject to certain regulatory approvals. It has been agreed by both parties that the purchase price will not be disclosed.
