Merlo is there

Sunrays light up the old streets in Riga and its centuries-old buildings. It looks like an action film: a series of futuristic sport cars run after each other on the deserted streets of a charming Eastern European city. This is the scenario chosen by Audi for the launch of the new R8. The beauty of this sport car with a signature look which combines style, efficiency and technology, is emphasised by the contrast with the ancient charm of Latvia’s capital. To better follow the cars along the city streets, the public goes up the spire of St. Peter church. The best spot to look at the new R8 though is a different one: the platform of the Roto 40.25 MCSS. This Merlo telescopic handler has namely been chosen to set up the shooting set. From its platform, the director directed and shot the cars driving along large avenues, parks and by the famous Freedom Monument. Once again, when technology and quality are involved, Merlo is there.
