Human-oriented Design

Convenient operation and maximum comfort are major design criteria for the BYD electric pallet forklift. Equipped with shockproof, anti-skid platform combined with an uncompromisingly rugged structure, the operator can stand safely during work. The steering handle can be rotated from left to right through 180 degrees, ensuring the comfort of the operator at all times. Cups and folders storage are also included in the design.

Operator Compartment

Designed to make operation more efficient and easier for the operator, all controls are in step with ergonomics. The operator control handle with two cambered twist grips perfectly matches the operator’s hands and can also manipulate travel direction and speed and turn back to neutral automatically once released. Once the handle is horizontal or vertical, the forklift will stop. These features help the operator to achieve more with minimum fatigue.

Outstanding Safety

The Fe battery powering all BYD electric pallet forklifts has passed numerous tests, among them, crash, pinprick, burning, and squeeze tests. With slant-angle body structure, visibility is excellent for safe operation. Frame and forks are joined by heavy duty “L” brackets, welded into a rigid unit. The battery compartment is an integral part of the chassis and fork assembly, adding even more strength to the frame. Additionally, the driving wheel is under the center of body to prevent sliding, especially on wet and inclined surfaces. Thanks to the stable and reliable balance wheel control system, safety is guaranteed at all times.

Unchallenged Performance

The BYD electric pallet forklift features a 24 volt, high power, AC drive motor. This high performance motor allows for maximum productivity and excellent reliability. Also, the Fe battery has high energy density, which can reduce the forklift weight and improve the energy efficiency. What’s more, designed for exceptional performance, the forklift is equipped with an advanced digital control system and BMS (Battery Management System).

Cost Efficiency

Extended maintenance intervals for motor and battery are a direct result of BYD’s advanced Fe battery (Lithium Iron Phosphate battery) technology, Battery Management System and AC drive motor.

The BYD Fe battery is an extremely stable battery with a very long lifecycle, which can be used for 10 years according to the daily driving range, and has no memory effect.

With the BMS (Battery Management System), the efficiency of the system allows for a high number of work cycles.

Also, the intelligent AC drive motor together with the unique steering wire harness ensures low costs and high productivity.
