Toyota Industrial Equipment (TIE) Executives and Bartholomew County Fair Board Members gathered yesterday at the Bartholomew County Fair to celebrate TIE’s recent forklift donation and the new name of a fair building. To show appreciation for the second forklift TIE has donated, the Bartholomew County Fair will name Fairgrounds Building #1, facing state road 11, after Toyota.

Toyota has been a member of the Columbus community since opening its door in 1990. This year marks the 25th year anniversary of Toyota manufacturing forklifts in Columbus. TIE’s Columbus campus totals 1 million square feet of manufacturing and support space and houses nearly 1,500 associates.
