Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) releases its “Dual Impact – Together we make a difference” sustainability report today to support customers in building cost-efficient businesses and a healthier and safer society and environment

Continuous improvement (Kaizen), sustainable manufacturing (Monozukuri) and lean manufacturing through the Toyota Production System (TPS) have always been at the centre of all Toyota activities. To help world-leading customers in sustainability to achieve their goals, TMHE engaged with various internal and external stakeholders to identify and align top-priorities in this area. The result is a concise sustainability report that focuses on the transparent communication of strategies, data and solutions.

As a reliable and efficient material handling partner, TMHE aims to build upon the sustainable logistics outlined in the present report with three core messages: minimise environmental impacts, optimise business processes, and maximise safety, quality and performance.

“Our customers ask for greener and safer products as well as increased transparency on environmental and social governance. This report helps us to better understand and meet material handling challenges together,” says Tom Schalenbourg, Director Sustainable Development at Toyota Material Handling Europe.
