Clark Equipment New Zealand will be expanding its Clark Materials Handling business in New Zealand and make it the centre for distribution into the Pacific Islands.
The company is forecasting consistent growth and wants to expand operations to meet the increased demand and opportunity.
The expansion in New Zealand and into the Pacific Islands is the next step in Clark’s regional growth strategy. In 2012, Clark established a facility in Singapore and a dealer network through Indonesia,Malaysia,Singapore,Thailand, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

“New Zealandis a focus market forClark. We have had a long history inNew Zealandand the region centred particularly in the stevedoring, heavy industry and transport sectors.Clarkwill now be expanding into more of the industrial and commercial growth markets.
“Clark’s forklift range has widened from our range of gas and diesel powered trucks with a new generation of electric trucks and warehousing equipment meeting the needs of the broader industry.
“The Clark difference is how we look after our customers. We offer a more personal, innovative approach with service, fleet management and financing arrangements tailored to customer needs. We are not the biggest in the industry, but we focus on our customers and strive to give them the individual attention and service that they need.
