Building on the award-winning success of its new PREMIA ES pedestrian power pallet truck, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has now added a platform power pallet series to the PREMIA family. Its name: PREMIA EM.

The first PREMIA EM model to be released is the standard 2 tonne PBV20N2, designed for applications such as pallet transfer work in logistics terminals and industrial warehouses, and for loading and unloading vehicles.

PREMIA EM benefits from the same highly resilient engineering as the pedestrian models, with every system sealed, protected and requiring minimal maintenance. Quite simply, the truck has been designed to keep on working… in spite of uneven ground, splashing water, dust, rough treatment and other operational hazards.

Ride comfort and safety are enhanced by the combination of a large, suspended platform and high-positioned, cushioned sidebars. The platform and sidebars can be folded away quickly when not needed, to allow pedestrian operation, but in normal use the platform stays down for easy on-off access. High-grip rubber matting adds to the sense of security.

From a commanding, ergonomic position on the platform, with intuitive handling via the simple-to-use tiller arm, the operator is always confident and in full control. The truck's compact chassis, small turning circle and excellent all-round visibility help to make PREMIA exceptionally manoeuvrable.

A unique two-position performance mode switch allows instant adaptation to changing tasks and conditions. The safety/economy mode slows down the truck's operation when, for example, working in very small spaces or handling delicate loads.

With a market-leading lift height of 135 mm, PREMIA copes easily with steep ramps and loading docks, uneven surfaces and even damaged pallets.

A variety of specialist options can be added to the standard package to further increase productivity and safety including large levers which allow operators to raise and lower loads precisely even when wearing thick gloves.
