After STILL had already set the standards with the RXX concept car some 12 years ago, the intralogistics company is now taking another step into the future with the cubeXX.

STILL as the leading supplier of intralogistics solutions is guided by requirements and wishes its customers will have in the future. Based on tomorrow’s economic requirements, derived from global megatrends, STILL and the Hamburg based design office TEAMS DESIGN have developed the cubeXX.

The cubeXX shows possible answers to all logistics challenges resulting from the megatrends of logistics. Following the motto “first in intralogistics”, this vehicle encompasses a number of possibilities to optimise tomorrow’s daily challenges at the workplace.

An efficient warehouse needs many different trucks. Specific applications require specialised trucks. Therefore it comes down to selecting the right truck when acquiring a new machine. This is where the cubeXX provides an answer. According to the motto “Six in One” it combines six proven truck designs to offer maximum flexibility. The machine combines six different truck classes in a single vehicle. It is propelled by Li-batteries and thanks to its retractable cabin, it can be operated manually and automatically.

Many of its functions are already found in STILL trucks today. Functions that will be basic for future drive systems allowing responsible and sustainable use of ever shorter resources, reducing CO2 emissions, preserving the environment and increasing efficiency alike.

The cubeXX was developed as an answer to the megatrends in intralogistics. It already gives answers to questions that STILL, as the leading supplier of intralogistics, is expecting by 2020.
