The Fourth Irish Logistics Networking Lunch takes place at the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport on Tuesday 3rd April 2012
The event is organised jointly by the All Ireland Warehousing Association (AIWA) and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) on behalf of the International Federation of Warehousing Logistics Associations (IFWLA) and the Confederation Europeene de l’Entreposage et de la Logistique (CEEL) and is supported by CILT (Ireland)
Roger Williams, chief executive officer of AIWA, commented: “The current economic situation continues to provide challenges. Every company is looking to take costs out of its operations and seeking to find innovative solutions to generate new business and retain existing clients. Networking is a vital strategy in these market conditions, and this event will provide a discreet and quality opportunity for third party logistics services operators, own account operators and suppliers to the industry to get together.”
The lunch will feature a guest speaker and will be attended by Directors and CEOs of leading Ireland-based logistics companies together with suppliers to the sector and UK companies with business links in Ireland.
About The United Kingdom Warehousing Association
With over 600 member companies, the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to serving the vitally important warehousing and logistics sector. Established in 1944, the Association’s members control nearly 100 million square feet of warehousing space from nearly 1300 locations across the UK. Although originally established as a trade body for the third party warehousing sector, the Association now embraces all companies that operate a warehousing or distribution facility.
About The All Ireland Warehousing Association
Formed in 2011, the All Ireland Warehousing Association (AIWA) embraces all companies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland that provide warehousing and other logistics support services in the supply chain. Like its parent organization, UKWA, it is also open to retailers and manufacturers who operate their own warehousing and distribution functions. The Association is directly affiliated to UKWA and is run from an office in Claremorris, County Mayo.
