Chinaforklift.com (www.chinaforklift.com, English version: www.forkliftnet.com) informed that at the 11th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2011), Heli officially launched their 7-tonnage hybrid forklift that was driven by lead-acid battery and super capacitor. Heli held the independent intellectual property right to this series of battery-capacitor hybrid forklift, of which the tonnage was the heaviest in the field of domestic hybrid forklifts, filling the blank of electric forklifts in the domestic market.

On the exhibition site, Chinaforklift.com (www.chinaforklift.com, English version: www.forkliftnet.com) conducted an interview to Yang Guo, the engineer from the Electric Vehicle Institute of Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. Technology Center. He told Chinaforklift.com that Heli 7-tonnage battery-capacitor hybrid forklift highlighted in the innovative hybrid technology, which combined lead-acid batter and super capacitor together to provide driving force for the forklift, enabling the forklift not only to timely and effectively reuse the potential energy generated in the process of driving, loading and unloading operation, but also to check the regenerated energy and indicate them on the instrument in the real time. On this newly-launched forklift, Heli applied the self-innovated power node energy distribution and management system to realize safe and efficiency management on the energy of the forklift, aiming at accomplishing environmental protection and energy saving to the maximal level and effectively reducing the capacity of the battery to highly enhance the ability of continuous operation. In addition, 7-tonnage battery-capacitor hybrid forklift was installed with dual AC motor driving device self-developed by Heli to provide powerful driving force and excellent performance. The other advanced technologies used on the new forklift also included CAN bus and full AC control technology to completely realize the closed-loop control on the driving system and lifting system.

At present, the oil-electric hybrid autos were not news to all. However, Heli’s application of battery-capacitor hybrid on the industrial vehicle was the first time in the industrial vehicle industry in China. This was the success of the staff from Heli Technology Center with their collected technology and uninterrupted efforts, which was also a sign that the industrial vehicle industry in China had marched towards a new level in terms of advanced technology.

The launch of 7-tonnage heavy-duty electric counterbalanced forklift would fill the blank in the field of domestic industrial vehicles.
