Komatsu Forklift Australia is bringing the first new warehouse equipment brand down-under in over 20 years.
OMG, one of Europe’s fastest-growing warehouse equipment manufacturers, is arriving in Australia to be added to the Komatsu range.
“We are so excited to see OMG arrive, it completes our range and we’re proud to bring one of Europe’s most prestigious forklift brands to the Australian market,” said Tetsuya (Ted) Ishikawa, managing director of Komatsu Forklift Australia.
With the arrival of the OMG range, Australia now has access to one of the safest forklifts in the world. With a claim to have the best through-mast vision from any reach truck in the industry, the forklift is said to offer the best OH&S options for its drivers.
Komatsu heavily scrutinised the OMG product prior to signing up to become its Australian distributor. Shoun Hatakeyama, Komatsu Forklift Australia’s deputy managing director, is a technical expert in warehouse products with many years experience in Komatsu’s European operations.
“We investigated details of design standards, build quality and manufacturing process before concluding that the OMG products meet the standards Komatsu sets and we’re proud to be their distributor in Australia,” Shoun said.
Mr Rosati, the president of OMG will travel to Australia to be a part of the OMG launch with Komatsu.
“We’ve been operating in Europe for over 30 years now, it’s exciting to see our latest designs land in Australia,” Mr Rosati said.
OMG clients include global companies such as Lufthansa, Ferrari, Nestle, Coca Cola, Dunlop, Smeg, LG, the French supermarket chain Auchan, and many more. They say that using the OMG range has meant vast improvement in stock management with damage to goods reduced dramatically.
“The equipment speaks for itself, the design is very suited to the Australian market and brings with it all the latest options and AC technology. We’re proud to be the ones to bring OMG to Australia,” Tetsuya (Ted) Ishikawa said.
The addition of OMG Warehouse Equipment to the Komatsu stable completes the Komatsu range, with the company now offering equipment from small power pallet movers to 25 tonne forklifts.
Komatsu forklift has 11 factory owned branches and a network of dealers across Australia to provide access to the sales, rental and maintenance of its complete product range.
