Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) invited 84 students, selected as scholarship recipients and members of the ‘Doosan Family of Children,’ to Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, for an event at the amusement park on June 8.

The invitation of Doosan Family of Children, which marks its fifth event this year, was intended to allow young students, who effectively serve as leaders of their respective families amid difficult household circumstances, to have a great time with Doosan executives and staff members at Everland.

For this, 103 Doosan executives and staff members volunteered. They formed one-on-one buddies with the children, and spent the day with them riding on joyrides and watching performances.

Chairman Park said, “Young children who are not adequately protected need our constant attention and warm affection. We hope this event will help children in difficult household environments to nourish their dreams and hopes in a small way.”
