IRVINE, Calif.—Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) is pleased to announce results of a June 2009 Lift Truck Parts Study conducted by Reed Research, which ranked Toyota Genuine Parts as first in the categories for quality, reliability, durability and value for the money. The survey also identified those same four characteristics – reliability, product quality, value for the money and durability –- as the most important when evaluating any lift truck parts for possible purchase.

Conducted by the independent third-party research company, Reed Research Group, more than 251 Modern Materials Handling readers were surveyed. Most of those surveyed were plant managers, DC and warehouse management and corporate management within manufacturing and distribution facilities across a wide range of businesses and industries including automotives, food and beverage, machinery, and wholesale trade. Specifically, the study examined lift truck parts purchased in the last 12 months and planned purchases for the year ahead; as well as attributes considered important when evaluating lift truck parts for possible purchase; and the service and maintenance of lift trucks.
