Recently, Yuchai and Honeywell signed strategic partnership contract in Yuchai. General Manager of Yuchai Stock Joint Co., Ltd. and Vice-President & General Manager of Honeywell Transportation System Asian-Pacific Area Nitin Kulkarni signed on the contract on behalf of Yuchai and Honeywell respectively. Till then, Yuchai and Honeywell will cooperate in a wider and broader way.

On June 21^st, Honeywell held Honeywell Science & Technology Day in Yuchai Culture Center to exhibit products and conduct scientific and technological lectures, introducing the latest tunbine technology for commercecar and passenger car to Yuchai. Vice-President & General Manager of Honeywell Transportation System Asian-Pacific Area Nitin Kulkarni, Vice-President of Turbocharger Technology & Global Commerce Car Customer Management Department Tony Schultz, Marketing Manager of Turbocharger Technology & Global Commerce Car Chris Holt and General Manager of Turbocharger Technology China Area Gao Dinggui as well as leaders from Yuchai such as Chairman of the Board Yan Ping, General Manager Li Tiansheng and standing Vice-General Manager Liang Heping attended Science & Technology Day ceremony.   

In the coming 3 to 5 years, Honeywell will provide their new technologies and products in terms of turbocharger, emission, energy consumption and induction control for Yuchai, cooperate with Yuchai on the aspects of product development, product application, after-sales service and technological training so as to offer forceful help to Yuchai to improve their development level. Honeywell’s strong technological support will help Yuchai to obtain more apparent advantages in optimizing emission, reducing energy consumption, improving reliability and economical features.

Honeywell was one the most excellent supplier of engine fuel system and EGR System. Since 1994, Honeywell began to cooperate with Yuchai. It is the first supplier to provide turbocharger system to Yuchai. The two parties formed strategic partnership since from 2005. After many years’ cooperation, they have gained fine development on product development and service. The close cooperation between Honeywell and Yuchai will be the outstanding focus of the whole industry.
