AUSA REINFORCES PRESENCE IN NORTHERN EUROPE

As a precaution against a greater demand in Northern Europe, AUSA has decided to reinforce its distribution network in Sweden and Denmark. The joining of new distributors in its network will allow a level of sales that has been growing at a steady state for the last five years to be consolidated. The new members are distinguished professionals who are familiar with the sector and the area, have many years of experience and are resolved to increase the presence of dumper trucks in the catchment area.

In Denmark, the company in charge of leading the AUSA consolidation process will be SVENIGSENS, a well-known Danish company in the market that provides “responsibility, reliability and a verified after-sales service” in the words of Josep Soler, AUSA exports manager. The company responsible for boosting the Spanish firm’s presence in Sweden will be EMS, an expert company in the rental sector and well-established in the country. According to the new distributors, both firms have displayed their satisfaction at representing a manufacturer “with such a potential, variety of products and position that AUSA has”.

Although AUSA has been operating for years in the region, its product launches over recent years favour the imminent consolidation of some of its more recent vehicles. The company’s wide range of dumper trucks, going from a 1-ton to a 10-ton load capacity, combined with the high level of innovation that the Spanish manufacturer injects into its vehicles, will be aspects that Northern European professionals can appreciate.

AUSA’s predictions also point to a solid implementation of rough-terrain forklift trucks “since this is one of the vehicles that, due to its performance, design, quality and ability to drive over any awkward terrain, will be met with applause in this discerning market”, to quote Soler. Having said that, priority will still be given to dumper trucks.

Northern European professionals are discerning customers, who appreciate the dedicated effort spent on product engineering, manufacturing, good value-for-money and fulfilment of high quality standards, “requirements that our firm is one step ahead of”. Soler also points out that if we add the reliability of excellent machines and an efficient after-sales service, “you can start to be taken notice of”. Before opting for one vehicle or another, these markets assess the future acquisition in minute detail, “and if you don’t meet a series of very high standards from the outset it is better not to penetrate the market in question” concludes Soler.

The sectors in which AUSA predicts a greater level of implementation in the region are the rental sectors. This is a system that is traditionally well-established in the region. The agricultural sector will find a good ally in AUSA. In fact, forecasts made in the exports area point to a market share of around 35% to be attained within three years. This will be made possible by the “enviable economic situation in Scandinavia at present”, according to Soler. Its lower interest rates than in the Euro Zone allow its economic activity to stand above the European average.
