The Hyster H2.5TX Fortis forklift
Australasian Transport News (ATN) is offering subscribers the chance to win an amazing prize — a Hyster H2.5TX Fortis forklift valued at more than $30,000.

Commencing March 4, new and renewing ATN subscribers will automatically receive 100 entries in the competition.

Subscribers can enter by filling out an entry coupon on page 60 to 61; or visit www.tradeplantequipment.com.au/competitions.

Worth in excess of $30,000, the Hyster H2.5TX forklift features the choice of diesel or LPG-petrol engine, hydrostatic steer axle and automatic transmission delivering a maximum travel speed of 18.5km/h and a maximum lift speed of 650 to 705mm per second.

With a load capacity of 2,500kg and a 2,210mm turning radius, the H1.5 to 3.5TX series was designed by Hyster’s global development team to meet the specific requirements of its Asia Pacific customers.

Manufactured to ISO standards as its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Obu, Japan, the Hyster H2.5TX F also features an innovative operator compartment designed to offer easy driver access, excellent all-around visibility and conveniently located controls.

A complete cowl-to-counterweight service access, and hinged engine cover at the rear, contributes to rapid, efficient maintenance; while the EZXchange bracket allows for simple, quick exchange of the LPG cylinder.

For operators, Hyster’s stability mechanism reduces truck sway during turns, improving lateral stability; while a fully isolated drivetrain delivers a new standard in smooth riding.

And its exclusive Vista mast — now J-hook mounted — improves forward visibility as well as reducing wear and providing for easier maintenance.

Additionally, a sealed LCD dash display mounted on the steer column facilitates easy-to-use on-board diagnostics.

These combined features deliver a tough forklift up to the most challenging applications.

To be in the running for this impressive prize, visit here and enter before the competition closes August 30, 2014.
